Dolores dice...Come Out and Play

Dear Dolores:

I’ve been married for just about eight months, and my husband wants to go out sometimes to hang out with his friends. My question is, should I let him go once in a while? He’s Caucasian and thinks its okay for husbands and wives to do things on their own. As a Latina, I was taught differently. According to my father, I should not let my husband go out because he might leave me for another mujer.

Let the boy go out and play. He’ll get bored sitting around the house all day, every day. If a man wants to cheat, he’ll do it no matter how short the leash. I would even go so far as to say that if someone is feeling smothered, there's more of a chance that they would look elsewhere for loving! You should also have a life of your own. So go out with your amigas and relax.
