I got engaged recently. Actually, I got engaged in August, but it still feels pretty recent. But the reality is, the wedding date is set for Sept. 3 and I’ve got to get my butt in gear. There are flowers to pick, cakes to taste, shoes to buy and, of course, hair and makeup to consider. I know a lot of girls start growing their hair out for their wedding…but I’m not sure why. Is it just a thing we do, almost involuntarily, like twirling our hair when flirting? Is it that we intrinsically link long hair to femininity, and therefore feel we must have it with the poufy dress and princess jewelry? I don’t know. But I do know that I began growing my hair out...and now all I want to do is cut it all off! Like Jessica Alba’s shoulder-skimming cut—isn’t it cute? It’s chic and feminine and I’m dying to do it. Tell me readers…should I lop off my mid-back strands midway to my wedding date?
Should I Copy Alba’s Cut?
