The Pair That Makes You Stare

So a staff member here at Latina was recently accused of wearing false eyelashes, a fabulous accusation considering it wasn’t true. She swears by this combination: A priming coat of Prescriptives Lash Builder Mascara Basecoat ($16, prescriptives.com) followed by a coat of Shiseido Perfect Mascara ($22, sephora.com). The combination not only leaves her lashes long and doe-y, but also soft, flexible and visibly un-clumpy. I’ve dared her to try the primer with another mascara, and alas the results aren’t exactly the same. It seems these two wands were meant to be together.
