Latina Beauty Awards!

It’s time for the big reveal! Our second annual beauty awards have been announced in the May issue of Latina. And chicas, I could not be prouder of our winners. Some were picked by the editors, and some by you, the readers. A big gracias to you all! Some of the highlights: Rimmel Sexy Curves mascara ($7) is one of the best wands I’ve ever placed on my lashes; I get big, lush, curly doe-eyes every time I use it. L’Oreal Paris Excellence-To-Go at-home hair color ($9) takes 10 minutes of your time, and gives soft and shiny results. Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti Sun Damage Eye Cream SPF 15 ($13) is a well-priced protector that was approved by the Skin Cancer Foundation. And Peter Thomas Roth Radiance Oxygenating Masque ($50) is a spa-worthy treasure without which I never travel. Clinique’s Even Better Makeup SPF 15 ($25) is a line of foundations containing their awesome mancha-fighting Even Better formula. A reader raved about Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup SPF 10 ($34), saying it helped cover her pesky acne scars. Oh, and the fragrances! We awarded the new Flora by Gucci ($90) perfume for its refreshingly modern take on the classic rose scent (hint: They mixed it with Patchouli!). We also fell for Elizabeth Arden Pretty ($49), a perfectly, well, pretty floral medley matched to the girly-girlie in us all. Oh, and the new heady, rich juice that is Badgley Mischka Couture ($65) is a real indulgence. We also tip or hat to classic fragrances from J.Lo and Daisy Fuentes. How I could go on!
