I Wanna Glow Home

Sometimes (lots of times) I’m not in the mood to put on makeup. But my face is so pale in the morning, my eyes so sunken into my face that if I don’t I hear all day long, “Hey, how are you? Are you tired? What happened?” So to avoid the awkward response (“No, I’m fine, just not wearing makeup,”), I dust on Smashbox Soft Lights Quad in Aglow ($28). This one is a mix of four slightly shimmering powders—a vanilla, light bronze, pink and mauve shade – that when combined and applied with a brush leave the subtlest, faintest glow on my face. It’s just enough to let me get by. And I like it.
