Found a Foundation for Life

I don’t wear foundation. But I’m starting today. This morning I decided to put myself together. I picked out a girlie spring-ish outfit, did my hair and reached for a new product: Cover Girl & Olay Simply Ageless Foundation ($14, drugstores nationwide). I’d heard great things about it but was weary since I hate putting greasy, heavy makeup on my breakout-prone skin. But as I dragged my fingers over the swirly mixture I became excited; it felt light as a feather and luxuriously creamy, all at the same time. The product is a mix of Cover Girl foundation and Olay Regenerist Serum (that’s the white stuff); together they’re a cover-up, anti-oxidant rich moisturizer and SPF cream in one. I applied it gingerly over my cheeks and blended it in with ease. It felt so good! I kept going over my entire face, finished by topping off cheeks with a gel blush and looked in the mirror. My skin was even, glowing and looked better than it had in ages! I now consider myself a convert. I’m off to a mountain top to shout this product’s praises to the world. Peace out.
