Feeling the Flower

Desperate to get away from Sunday night football, I wrestled the television
remote away from my man long enough to check out what vapid incarnation
of reality programming was airing on E!. Lo and behold, I found
Leave it to Lamas, a searing documentary-style look into the dramatic life and times of Argentinean
Shayne Lamas. Riveting. Actually, the only thing I found
watchable was the white chiffon-y flower headband Lamas wore during her
alcohol-fused mani-pedi trip to Dashing Diva. Perched on her perky
little bed of blonde hair, I found it absolutely adorable. But on
real-life me? Could I possibly pull off a headpiece like that without a
Los Angeles address, flouncy outfit and devil-may-care attitude? I may
never know…
