Anyone see Grease 2, the '80s sequel with Michelle Pfeiffer and that adorable British actor? It’s deeply fabulous, like a big heaping spoonful of Velveeta. The talent show scene where the Pink Ladies sing “A Girl for All Seasons” is my fav. I was reminded of it this weekend, backstage at the Carlos Miele show during NYC Fashion Week. The MAC makeup artist applied their Creamsheen Glass in Boy Bait ($18) on all the models.
This, ladies, is certainly the lip gloss for all seasons. Except that it’s limited edition, so you’ll have to get your hands on it before April. And I definitely recommend you do! It’s a cross between beige and baby doll pink, but the creamy formula gives it a milky white cast that just adds a certain something. It keeps the pink from looking generic; it makes it new, mysterious, and above all, sexy. The overall makeup look for the show was '80s inspired—a winged charcoal smoky eye and faint, almost-frosty lip. But you can make this easy-to-wear gloss work anytime, anyplace. I hear it made an appearance at a few other shows, too. It needs to make an appearance in my makeup bag, asap!
