Jasminators! For today's blog, I want to talk to you about 3 things you need to do (beauty-wise) to prepare for summer! Summer is one of my favorite times of the year. I'm a Cali girl so you already know I'm obsessed with the sun and beach. When the seasons change, it's a perfect time to change some little things around you. I hope you like my tips and please continue to comment on the blog. Y'all know I will be reading each and every comment :)
1. Change Your Nail Colors: With summertime approaching, I'm going to need you guys to spice up your nail colors. I love bright bold colors for warm weather, like orange, teal, sea blue, and hot pink! China Glaze has some great summertime colors. Also, you have to make sure your pedicure is on point. You don't always have to match your pedi color with your mani. Sometimes it's fun to make the colors contrast a little bit. Also, using glitter is always a super fun way to add some glam to your nails!
2. Sand Foot Scrub: If you live by the beach like I do, this should not be a problem. I love taking long walks on the beach barefoot. Not only is it good exercise but it's also a great way to exfoliate your feet. You can also take some wet sand in your hands and scrub it together to make sure your hands will also feel super soft. You then want to put on a great moisturizer to keep them from drying out. I love Kiehl's body butter lotion. It smells so good but isn't too flowery.
3. Change Your Perfume: I love to change my perfume every season. I love change and sometimes I get bored with the same scent all year long. I tend to vary between 4 to 5 perfumes. But I'm always open to try new fragrances. Before you commit to buying a new perfume, you should go to the beauty counters at department stores and get samples. Most major department stores like Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Macy's have free samples if you ask them. Or you can just try it right there from the sample bottles. Some of my favorite perfumes are Versace Crystals, Jean Paul Gaultier and Me by Lanvin.
