Jasminators! Have you seen my new music video "Paint a Smile On"? I'm so excited for you to watch! I figured I would do today's blog about looks from what I wore in the Paint A Smile music video. Remember tears won't last forever, life only gets better. When the world let's you down, Paint A Smile On :)
1. First Look: (Black mini dress with leather jacket)
For this ensemble, I'm wearing a black sweater dress from American Apparel. This dress is super comfortable but yet snug enough to the body to give you a good shape. My boots are black combat boots from Shoe Dazzle. I love the studs in these boots! I'm wearing a beanie from my own beanie line called #JVBeanie. This beanie is so warm and comfortable. It comes in two colors. Black and white and yellow and white. You can find it on my website jasminevmusic.com. I topped off the outfit with a leather jacket from WasteLand. As far as my makeup I did a slight smoky eye and topped it off with Cover Girl Crump Crusher Mascara to make my eye lashes super big without clumping. My lips were a dark violet color. I used Covergirl Embrace.
2. Second Look: (Green jumper)
For this look I went into the bathroom and transformed myself to a brighter, happier Jasmine. I wore a green jumper that I got at Wasteland and my nude hightop boots were vintage and also from Wasteland. I used a nude sparkly stockings to give the outfit a little edge. My hair was down with large waves. I got that look by using a big curling iron to give my hair some wave. I went a bit lighter on my eyes by wearing more brown but I kept the Covergirl Crump Crusher Mascara on to give my eyes definition. I also lightened my lips to a more natural rose color. I used Covergirl Lip Perfection in Verve. I topped the whole look off with some dainty gold jewelry pieces.
3. Third Look: (Beige long dress)
For this look I wanted to keep it really natural since I knew I was going to be in the middle of the desert. I had on a long beige dress from Brazil that my manager gave to me. I wore a brown smoky eye with a plum colored eyeliner. I used a natural lip liner and popped it off with some nude lip gloss. My hair was long and flowy. I used a one and a half-inch barrel to get the loose curls. Haha for this scene I'm not gonna lie, I was freezing. It was the last shot we did for the day and I was so happy with the way it came out!
Special shoutout to my hair/makeup stylist Neicy Small (@neicybaby1) for making all my looks possible in the music video. Tweet her if you have any questions about the looks!
