Jasmine V's Beauty & Boys: "3 Fun Things to Do if You're Single on Valentine's Day!"

Hey Jasminators! Valentine's Day is coming up this week. I haven't always had a boyfriend on Valentine's Day and instead of being home depressed because you don't have a significant other in your life, I'm going to share some fun things you can do with your friends. Just remember that Valentine's Day is all about love. Love doesn't have to be with a significant other. It can be love for your family and friends also!

1. Bake Valentine's Day Cookies

You can get some awesome recipes on the internet for Valentine's Day cookies. AllRecipes.com always has the best recipes. Here's a really simple one.

Once you bake the cookies you can wrap them in a cute package and give them out to your loved ones. Write a special note on each package and remind them how much they mean to you.

2. Make a Valentine's Playlist CD

There's no better way to show love than through music. All you will need is a couple of blank CDs and your favorite songs. Make a playlist of all your top favorite songs and burn them on CDs for your favorite people. The playlist doesn't have to be just love songs. The songs should all be special and make you feel good when you listen to them. You know my playlist would range from 2Chainz to Adele :) I would put about 10 songs on there. You can then buy the paper cd covers at Target, Wallmart, Staples or another big retailer and put some cute Valentine's stickers on them to decorate them. Again choose those that you want to share your special CD with. There's so much meaning behind music, so your friends and family will definitely appreciate the time that you took to make them this special gift.

3. Valentine's Day Phone Chain

There's nothing more than us girls like to do then talking on the phone! You can start a Valentine's Day phone chain. Sometimes people just want to hear that they're loved, even if you already know. Call your favorite person that you think could use a little encouragement and tell them how much you love them and what they mean to you. It can be your mom, dad, siblings, friends, grandparents....anyone you want. After you're done, you have to tell them that they need to call someone else and reciprocate the love. If everyone participates before you know it the love can reach a hundred different people :) Now that's sharing some Valentine's Day Love.

Well i hope you guys have fun with these little Valentine's Day suggestions! Please send me your comments and let me know how it goes. Remember it can be little things like homemade cookies, CDs or a special phone call that can make people feel truly loved.
