Adriana de Moura: "5 Ways to Look Festive During the Holidays"

A Little (or a Lot) of Sparkle: Any outfit that has shine to it will say, "I'm ready to have fun."  Sequins has been a favorite for a while now, but now we can also add brocade and lamé to the list of reflective fabrics that will make anyone shine! The only caveat? Get ready to be the center of attention!

Tuxedo Trend: For those of you whom like to remain more minimalist, I would absolutely recommend this trend of black and white. This is another festive and chic approach that we are borrowing from the boys' closet and I really love it.

Black With Embellishments: Every girl should have the perfect “little black dress” for their body type; this should be a staple in everyone's wardrobe. With that being said, one can always dress it up for a party just by adding a new embellished belt, or a statement necklace. You can also add a pop of holiday color in your shoes or clutch, which will complete this look.

Winter White: Yes, white for winter IS trending right now! And while in Miami, do as the Miamians do, and wear white during the holidays! In fact, I save my white dress for a NYE party. I've been doing this all my life because this is actually a Brazilian tradition: In Brazil everyone wears white on the 31st of December! You do it to welcome the new year with peace, and white represents that very idea.

These are some of my tips on how to keep the style alive even when I hear: "Baby, it is warm outside."

Happy Holidays to all!
