Big news, mateys! To coincide with this summer’s most-anticipated blockbuster, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, both OPI and DuWop are launching collections inspired by the film.
DuWop’s “Isla Sirena” collection includes Mermaid Venom (a plumping lip gloss), a Rotating Map Palette (which features the treasure map form the film and spins to reveal nine eye shadows, three lip glosses, and three gel eyeliners), and Caribbean IcedTea Lip Treatments in flavors like Butter Rum (yum!).

Nothing looks worse than chapped lips, and if you’re anything like me, you suffer from something I’d like to call “constant dry lip syndrome” during the brutal winter season. These days, I have to moisturize my lips twice as much to keep them soft. But sometimes not even the best lip repair can help! At times like these I try abuela’s brown sugar lip scrub. This delicious scrub exfoliates my lips, removing flakes and peeling skin. For this recipe you’ll need a quarter teaspoon of olive oil, a tiny bit of brown sugar and a small bowl for mixing.

The Milwaukee auditions were shot in July, so it makes sense that our favorite judge is so very sun-kissed. Still, it’s inspiring us to dust off our bronzer to give our skin a much needed color boost. What about you?

Pop star Christina Aguilera wanted to create a scent that would make a woman feel confident and glamorous all the time (attributes the starlet seems to project herself—even in the face of a tough divorce). Are you celebrating Día de los Muertos this year? If so, you can now bring the party into your shower! Lush, the natural beauty brand who makes those addicting bath bombs we all love, has created a special Día de los Muertos collection. The company states on their website that they decided to create the products because they “were so inspired by the idea that this time of year could be filled with love instead of scary creatures.”
