Our Favorite Fragrances for Spring

Ready for a fresh start this spring? Try a new fragrance! We rounded up a few of our favorites—some tried and true and some brand new.

1. Spring Fragrance - Chanel Chance

Chanel, Chance Eau Tendre

We love when a girl reinvents herself. (New seasons have that effect on us.) This third generation of Chanel's Chance, with its fruity and fresh scent infused with Jasmine, is a fitting update. (3.4 oz, $90, chanel.com)

2. Spring Fragrance - Beyonce Heat

Beyonce Heat

One of our co-workers fell in love with Beyonce Heat at first scent. She admits the diva force that is Beyonce is what first intrigued her; but it was the perfume's sweet scent (maybe it's the honeysucle nectar) that made her an immediate fan. (3.4 oz, $59, department stores)

3. Spring Fragrance - Tom Ford Musk Pure

Tom Ford Musk Pure

Tom Ford--designer, director, all-around connoisseur of all things chic--does it again with his latest fragrance collection: Tom Ford Private Blend Musk Collection. Musk Pure is perfect for spring. Mixing Italian citrus fruit, bergamot and pepper with a veil of Jasmine, it's neither too sweet or too dense, and decidedly unisex. (neimanmarcus.com)

4. Spring Fragrance - Mark Citrus Bloom

Mark. Citrus Bloom

A burst of sunshine--that's how we describe Mark Citrus Bloom mist. A spritz of the fragrance left us feeling bubbly thanks to splashes of green mango, juicy mandarin and lemon ice pop. The yummy scent will last you all day (and the price makes it a truly sweet treat). (1.6 oz, $18, meetmark.com)

5. Spring Fragrance - Mally Signature Fragrance

Mally Signature Fragrance

Celebrity makeup artist Mally Roncal is a refreshing burst of energy and sweetness--just like her signature fragrance. Paying homage to her Filipino heritage, the core of the scent is the country's national flower, Sampaguita. The result? Clean, fresh, feminine. (1.7 oz, $65, qvc.com)

6. Spring Fragrance - Eternal Magic

Eternal Magic

Eternal Magic is a pleasant surprise. With violet, vanilla and magnolia leaves, it's a balance of alluring yet subtle. Sums up actor Zoe Saldana--the face of Eternal Magic: "The mysterious and romantic tones of the fragrance are captivating." We agree. (50ml, $24, avon.com)

7. Spring Fragrances - Lola Marc Jacobs

Sometimes, it's all about packaging, and this colorful, dainty bottle of Lola Marc Jacobs is as intriguing as its scent. Though the popular floral-scented fragrance landed on vanties last fall, we think it's a perfect transition scent for spring. (3.4 oz, $85, bloomingdales.com)

8. Spring Fragrance - Halle Berry Pure Orchid

Sensual, sexy, intriguing, leaving a lasting impression—what else would you expect from Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry? After the success of her first fragrance, Halle by Halle Berry, the starlet releases what we think is an equally dazzling sequel: Pure Orchid by Halle Berry. At the heart of the fragrance is the Masdevallia Orchid, a rare, exoctic flower; but it's the middle notes of Blackberry Crème Concentré that we found most alluring. A perfect fit for the season. (1.0 oz, $28, select stores nationwide)

9. Spring Fragrances - Apple Bottoms

We know what you're thinking: Apple Bottoms by Nelly made the list of favorties? Short answer: Si! The soft, rosy fragrance was a favorite around the office, with a combination of sandalwood, amber and velvet musk that seemed to mix well with various body chemistries. (What can we say? Oprah loved his jeans, we love his fragrance!) (3.4 oz, $58, bonton.com)

10. Spring Fragrances - Baby Phat

Whether your living la vida in the fab lane or doing a slow and glamorous stroll along the sides, Baby Phat's Dare Me by Kimora Lee Simmons packs a flirty-yet-powerful punch that will bring out your inner fashionista. Better suited for playful dates and romps in the park than romantic evenings or black-tie affairs, the youthful scent contains notes of magnolia, honeysuckle and sandalwood.  (1.0 oz, $28, available at Walgreens, Target and Kohl's.)
