LA Based Nail Artist Created This Frida Kahlo Inspired Manicure & It's Gorg AF


Remembered for her fierce style and attitude, Frida Kahlo was a rare beauty who continues to inspire the beauty and fashion world.

From women rockin' flower crowns with braids to others embracing their unibrows -- the Mexican artist has especially left her mark on the beauty scene. Recently, a Los Angeles based nail artist, Betina Rodriguez Goldstein created a textured metal chain, Kahlo nail masterpiece.

Goldstein has worked with elite fashion brands such as HUGO Boss, Express, Banana Republic and more. The nail guru created the art around Frida's iconic look --- red lipstick, unicorn and crown. 

"I love the idea of mixing materials and creating jewelry for the nails. For this design, I started with the approach of a simple French manicure using a gold chain as the French tip. As I placed the chain, it sparked the idea that it looked like a hair braid," Goldstein told Latina. Check out the photo below.

The Mexican-American manicurist intentions were to paint Frida’s unmistakable silhouette but do so in a minimal way. "I painted her predominant eyebrows which we love and know her for and a two-tone red lip for dimension, " said Goldstein. Get ready to recreate this flawless mani at you next salon trip.
