Does This Really Work: Blotting Spray
by Sandra Mariscal | 09.24.2009 | 4:00pm | 0 Comments
I think I just found my new best friend in a skincare product! I have combination skin, so my forehead and nose get shiny throughout the day. I think the worst thing to do in this case is plop on loads of powder, which can look cakey and lead to clogged pores. I usually go for blotting papers, but I just tried Cosmedicine Medi-Matte Oil Control Spray ($35, cosmedicine.com) and my shiny patches vanished in a flash.
The spray bottle shoots out a refreshing mist that can be used under or over makeup. I was so pleased to find that it made my skin look matte without feeling dry. The company won't say exactly how the product works, but as long as it controls my T-Zone, this is staying with me at all times for touchups.
