4 Steps to Demi's Rocker-Chic Mani

Demi Lovato looked amazing on the red carpet for the VH1 Divas special, but what really caught our eye was her impressive black and metallic mani. Chic with a rocker edge, this nail art only looks hard to do. We caught up with Mar y Soul, celebrity manicurist for COVERGIRL to give us the inside scoop on how to DIY. We have to say, it really doesn't get easier than this!

What you need:

1. COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss #325 Black Diamond

2. Tweezers

3. Gold Leaf (can be purchased at your local arts and crafts store)

What to do:

Step 1: Using your tweezers, separate the pieces of gold leaf you want to use.

Step 2: On one hand, apply two coats of COVERGIRL Nail Gloss and let dry

Step 3: On the same hand, gently and randomly apply the gold leaf with twizzers

Step 4: Repeate steps 2 and 3 on the other hand. No topcoat necessary with the Nail Gloss!
