I got the opportunity of a lifetime last week when Oscar de la Renta opened the doors to his idyllic Kent, Connecticut farm house to a select group of journalists to talk about the launch of his heavenly new fragrance, Live in Love (available in stores this October).
Here's a glimpse at the day I spent with the iconic designer!

For the upcoming launch of Oscar de la Renta’s new fragrance, Live in Love, the fashion designer hosted a luncheon at his home in Connecticut. Lunch was served on the patio, which overlooks a lush green field and the tree-lined valley below it.
After lunch, Oscar guided us through his gardens. The first: a wooded hill filled with ferns, wildflowers, and a magnolia tree.
This ivy-covered archway leads to Oscar’s vegetable and flower garden.

The new fragrance, Live in Love, a green floral scent with lily of the valley, bergamot, ginger orchid and jasmine notes, will launch in mid-October!
