Whenever a new product hits the shelves and promises great results, it’s easy to be skeptical. The latest item to pop up everywhere is the new generation of foundation called BB cream. "Beauty Balm" or "Blemish Balm" originally started in Asia and launched in the U.S. last year.
BB cream is especially good for those (like Latinas) who are genetically predisposed to melasma and hyperpigmentation, that both create skin discoloration. The balm also helps with acne, has anti-aging ingredients, and has a built in SPF!
Clinique Age Defense BB Cream, SPF30:
For those looking for anti-aging benefits and high SPF, this is the way to go. The product comes in three shades: very fair (with pink undertones), very fair to moderately fair (with golden undertones) and moderately fair to medium (with golden undertones).
