This year’s Miss Universe competition will air next Monday and one of our 15th Anniversary cover girls, NBC news anchor Natalie Morales, will host the event with Bravo president Andy Cohen. The part Brazilian, part Puerto Rican will host live from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Morales spoke to Latina.com last year about hosting Miss Universe. “I was like, ‘Wow!’ I’m Latina— half Brazilian, half Puerto Rican— and I know what a big deal the Miss Universe pageant is in Latin and South America,” she said. “I watched many Miss Universe pageants growing up, so it’s a real honor to be a part of the coverage now.”
