Mexican Men Go From Macho to Metrosexual

Plenty of Mexican men have discovered that being a man’s man and looking well put together do not have to be mutually exclusive. Estée Lauder’s Marc Latiere’s tells WWD that Mexican sales of top beauty products for men (including Biotherm, Clinique Skin Supplies for Men, Aramis Lab Series and Clarins Men) have increased 20 to 25 percent annually over the last five years. BDF Mexico’s Diego Ferrández went on to say that Mexico is a Latin American “forerunner” in the men’s market.

Wow! We think this is a step in the right direction. We’re all for men smelling good and practicing good grooming-as long as they don’t spend more time in the bathroom than we do.

It is a good thing that men are more conscious about their appearance, they figured out that we can be just as critical of them as they are of us! lol! Over groomed appearance however screams arrogance btw!

It's great that to feel good about the way you look and feel! Women have been doing it for years, of course we're more dependent on other cues when it comes to dating, like scents but men are affected by them, too. Men are more attracted by visual cues. I predict this will be a growing trend.

i am with a mexican and he went from admiring products for females to wearing undergarments. dec. 15 i caught him in a black thong with black bows adorned in the front and after one heavy argument he left and i busted open his locked suitcase which had always peaked my interest and what did i find PASTIES,victoria secret catalog and more thongs, made for women and a black bodysuit that snapped in the middle of your legs, empty packages of female stockings and female clothes. Needless to say i am with him for purely financial assistance i am in my last year of nursing school and on the day i graduate the biggest gift i can give to myself is to leave this gay mexican. IT IS TRUE WOMEN WHEN A MAN TALKS SO MUCH TRASH FOR HOMOSEXUALS he probably has an interest and is struggling with the issue himself and he hates the constant reminder of his insecurity. As for metrosexual i would rather have my man downright dirty and knows how to clean up well when good presentation is a must not preoccupied if his eyelashes are growing wild

I think that good grooming is important. Just as women have their beauty rituals that make them feel attractive, men should be allowed to have theirs too.
