It's finger lickin' good!
KFC Hong Kong is taking nail polish where its never gone before. The fast food chain has just created edible polish which tastes like their famous fried chicken, emphasizing their 'finger lickin' good' slogan.
How in the world could this be possible, you ask? According to Adweek, Oglivy and Mather teamed up with McCormick food technologists to create the polish based off the herbs and spices used in the Orignal and Hot & Spicy recipes.
“To use consumers simply apply and dry like regular nail polish, and then lick — again and again, and again," the brand said in a statement. This means fans of KFC will now be able to satisfy their greasy cravings — minus the endless calories.
To further get consumers involved the brand has also released an online music video and is encouraging KFC fans to pick a favorite polish.
As gross as it may sound, the thought of calorie-free fried chicken flavor does seem a bit enticing. Would you give this polish a try?
