Nicole Richie looks jaw-droppingly stunning in her fashion feature for Harper’s Bazaar Russia as she shows off one of the hottest beauty trends for spring: Old Hollywood glamour. We can’t stop staring at the photos because she looks just like the iconic Latinas we love (think: Rita Hayworth, Raquel Welch, Rita Moreno) with creamy red lipstick and nails, strong brows, and smooth, sculpted waves!
Do you love it, too? Here’s how to copy her glam look:
- Set your hair in hot rollers or use a small curling iron (1/2” to 1”) to tightly curl all of your hair. (To hold the style, spray each section with hairspray, like Kerastase Double Force Hairspray, before you curl it.) Let hair cool, then brush through the curls to loosen them. Use your fingers to style one side forward and pin back the other side.
- Apply a rich, creamy lipstick (try Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Intense in Satin Vermilion Red, $19, sephora.com), then line lips with a lip liner (like CoverGirl Lip Perfection Lip Liner in Passion, $7, drugstore.com) to create a sharp edge.
- Now flick a brow pencil in the same shade as your brows through your brow hair, making light, hair-like strokes (try Lancome Le Crayon Poudre, $24.50, lancome-usa.com). Blend the pencil with a spoolie brush.
- Paint two coats of red polish (like Essie A List, $8, essie.com) on oval-shaped nails grown just past your fingertips.
