We’ve been hearing whisperings about Salma Hayek’s plan to launch her own beauty line for years, and now it seems that it’s really about to happen. In a recent interview with T Magazine, Salma says, “I always wanted to do this because my grandmother, who was a beauty, she died at 96 with no wrinkles. And you should see my mother! We have some family secrets...”
Salma goes on to mention a few of the ingredients she plans to use—tepezcohuite (in a moisturizer), concha nacar (as a skin lightener), the stone of the mamey fruit (to grow lashes)—all part of her Mexican grandmother’s beauty rituals.
The line is called Nuance and will be sold exclusively at CVS drugstores next year. We can’t wait!
