Berenice Bejo—the Argentinian star of this year’s Oscar contender, The Artist—has transformed her look for Awards season.
Gone is the dark brunette hair, now replaced with a warm cinnamon tint, while her makeup palette at both the AACTA Awards and the Directors Guild of America Awards was a shimmery bronze.
To copy Berenice’s copper makeup:
1. Sweep a shimmery bronze or copper powder eye shadow across your eyelid, blending it to just above your crease. Try Estee Lauder Pure Color Eye Shadow in Sizzling Copper, ($20, esteelauder.com).
2. Draw black eyeliner along your lashes, then add mascara. When you do a light wash of color like copper, you need to outline your eyes with black to make them stand out.
3. Blend an illuminating bronzer just under your cheekbones and up to your temples. Swirl a large brush into Physicians Formula Bronze Booster Glow-Boosting Sun Stones, ($14.95, physiciansformula.com).
4. Finish with a copper lip gloss (like CoverGirl Queen Collection in Copper Bliss, ($5.49, drugstore.com) or a sheer rose gold one (like Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Polish in Trixie, $18, sephora.com). Berenice tried both!
