The tents are down, the blowdryers have stopped whirling and the racks are empty: the Fashion Week circus has officially left town. After a weekend to recover, we’ve had a chance to digest what we saw; here are the looks we’re still thinking about:

Two-Tone Eye Shadow
The biggest trend of the season? Colorful eye shadow, especially coral and teal shades. MAC makeup artist Nadine Luke embraced the look at Rosa Cha by using both hues, placing teal on the inner corners of the eyes and sweeping coral from the eyes’ outer corners to the hairline.
Also at Rosa Cha, the hair is wound into a bun that sits on top of the head (a trend we’ll gladly get behind when the weather heats up again), while at Oscar de la Renta it’s wrapped over a round sponge for a dramatic oversized bun.
Black Liner + Green Shadow
Revlon makeup artist Gucci Westman makes the season’s colorful eye shadow trend a little more wearable—and edgier—with black eyeliner on both the upper and lower lashlines.
The classic schoolgirl clips were all over the runway, but we saw them first at Carolina Herrera, where hair stylist Orlando Pita glued real hair onto wide barrettes then placed them down the length of the hair.
A subtle skin-toned, peachy beige polish was the color of choice at most shows this year, including Narciso Rodriguez, who went with a creamy taupe from Deborah Lippmann called—what else?—Fashion.
