Pretty makeup for pretty clothes—that was the goal at Carolina Herrera’s fall show. MAC makeup artist Diane Kendal focused on the lips, lightly patting MAC lipstick in Prince Noir—a deep berry color—onto the mouth, then dabbing it off with a tissue to create a sheer stain. She used Angel Blush to give cheeks a subtle flush, then drew a thin, extended line of black crème eyeliner along the upper lashes only. The jewel tone manicure (created with two coats of CND’s Dark Ruby) has a super shiny finish to contrast with the suede, velvet, and fur in the collection.
