Have you noticed that our celebs have been lashing out lately? Here's how to recreate these gorgeous celebs' lash trends:
Eva Longoria’s Triple-Stacked Faux Fringe
Eva’s extra lush, feathery fringe practically reaches her brows. To get the effect, she layers three faux lash strips on top of each other. Wowza. Look for faux lashes that are thick and long, like Lash Addiction's “Boy Toy.” ($6, lashaddiction.com)
Jennifer Lopez’s Long Lower Lashes
One of the hottest lash trends this season is to play up your lower lashes a la J.Lo in her "On the Floor" video. Line lower lids with black eyeliner pencil, then wiggle your mascara wand through your bottom lashes. The effect opens up your eyes so much you’ll seriously wonder why you ever skipped this step! Use a lengthening mascara, like Maybelline Define-A-Lash. ($7.29, drugstore.com)
Kat Deluna’s Black Widow Lashes
These spidery, long lashes are super dramatic because they go past the outer corners of Kat’s eyes. To do this, first draw your eyeliner on thick and kick it out towards your temples, then place the lash strip off-center so that it extends out as well. Use long, full, spiky lashes, like Make Up For Ever “Bayly” Eyelashes. ($15, sephora.com)
Adrienne Bailon’s Spike Lashes
Separated and pointed lashes draw all the focus to Adrienne’s gaze (which is why she can keep the rest of her makeup so neutral). The lash length is just right: long enough to flirt, short enough to look realistic. Don’t be scared to trim the length and width to make a strip fit your lids perfectly. Try Reese Robert’s “Bait” lashes.
Kat Von D’s Sultry Cat Lashes
Guess it’s fitting for Kat to go for cat-like fringe! Line your entire eyelid with black liquid liner (I like Black Radiance Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner, $3.99, walgreens.com), extending the bottom line out past the outside corner of your eye, then apply a volumizing mascara (like CoverGirl Lash Blast Fusion, $8, target.com) to the top and bottom lashes, adding a few extra coats near the outer corners.
