Many readers have inquired about the state of their brows in relation to their hair color. More specifically, when is it necessary to dye them? It may be tempting to color brows after you’ve made a drastic change in hair color—like, say, if you’ve gone from brunette to blonde. But the truth is that you don't have to be so matchy-matchy. Does your hair get frizzy from sleeping on it? This used to happen to me all the time. I would go to bed with beautiful curls and wake up with frizzy, tangled hair from rubbing against my pillow. As promised, here is another bargain item that is curly hair approved: Citri Shine Color Prism Glossing Gelle, $4 at drugstores. This isn’t your traditional shine serum or oil. It’s actually a light gel consistency that leaves your curls shiny with nada de grasa! I tried this on my damp hair first and then on dry hair, and got non-crunchy, polished results each time.

Ladies, thank you so much for your helpful comments on my haircut drama a few weeks ago. My layered cut was drastically uneven from not maintaining it and I wasn’t sure what to do. Many of you weighed in on your layered cut likes and dislikes. I am a fan of layered curly hair for the oomph it adds. So after much thought, I asked my stylist to trim all my split ends and chop off the noticeable disparate lengths for a more flowing style.
