When it’s sticky outside, long hair can feel as hot as a fur coat. Lala Vazquez clearly knows the solution: she twisted all of her hair up into a bun at the crown of her head. The result is so chic, and works anywhere. Lala pulled this look off at the BET Awards, but we think it would work just as well with a white tee and flip flops. In fact, we vote this THE most versatile, easy-to-do hair trend of the summer!

Apparently hair accessories is the summer trend no star can seem to resist. We’ve already told you about the feather extensions celebs like Selena Gomez have been wearing, and now we’re seeing everything from turban-inspired headbands to oversized bows.

Our managing editor, Yuliana Gomez, has had a lifelong battle with her fine hair. This week, she road tested several volumizing products. Here’s her experience:
The Products: Volume-enhancing creams, mousses and sprays
The Claims: All the formulas promise to plump up strands and add major lift to hair.
My Results: I applied all of these products after washing and towel drying my hair, and immediately before blow drying it.
