Kat's Closet: A Hair Mask You Can Make at Home

If you really know me then you will know that I'm a beauty product junkie! I turn to organic home remedies to help me look Bella. This month I'm all about hair.

I love my hair, and I'm kind of obsessed with having long and healthy looking hair. (Okay, I'm totally obsessed.) My hair is very curly and although usually wear it straight, i have to do a lot to help keep the shine and lustrous look going.

The harsh sun makes my locks dry and look lifeless. After I couldn't find the right products for my textured hair i had to come up with my own version of a hair mask. I needed to quench and give some vitality to my hair.  The more I used it I noticed this mask can be used throughout the whole year and i saw my hair was growing faster.

I did a little research on nutrients and remedies that work best for hair and used the information to create my own hair mask! Because this has worked wonders for me I decided to share my recipe.

What you'll need:
1 platinum self heating conditioning cap
2 mashed biotin pills
1/2 mashed avocado
1/2 mashed whole coconut
2 whole Eggs
rosemary and olive oils (just a drizzle)
3 tablespoons of peanut butter (for best results try "Smart Balance" omega oil peanut butter)

Mix all the ingredients together until you have a cream. Smooth onto your hair, and cover with the cap. Leave on for 40 minutes to an hour, then rinse out.

Just from one application you'll see the difference! Try once a week.

Sometimes the best beauty secrets are found right in your kitchen! xoxo
