Hot Latin Grammy Hair Trend: Sexy Waves!

Sofia Vergara, Paulina Rubio, Demi Lovato, even Zoe Saldana—everyone was showing off smooth, bouncy waves at last night's Latin Grammy Awards.

These touchably smooth waves have become the go-to style for the red carpet, and it's easy to see why: they're beyond sexy, and they're actually really easy to pull off. Here's how:

  1. Blow-dry hair smooth, then spritz a dry shampoo at your roots to add volume (try John Frieda Luxurious Volume Anytime Volume Refresher, $6.49, drugstore.com).
  2. Grab a one-inch section of hair and spray it with a lightweight working hairspray, like Suave Professionals Touchable Finish, $2.74, target.com. This locks in your curl so it stays put all night long.
  3. Now, holding a clipless curling iron (check one out at Sephora) vertically with the base of the iron at the top of your head, wrap the section of hair around the rod.
  4. After a few seconds, gently slip the rod away from the hair for a soft s-shaped wave.
  5. Spray the next one-inch section of hair with hairspray and curl it the same way, making sure to wrap each section away from your face.
  6. When all of your hair is curled, spray it one last time with hairspray. For a messier look, pull the curls apart with your fingers and flip your head upside down a few times to loosen the waves slightly.

Hello, bombshell!
