Every now and then I like to add a little bit of gel to my strands to control my curls right before I go out—especially during the hot and humid summer months. I’m not a fan of those heavy, gloppy kinds of gels because they make my hair look droopy. Spray gels can also be intimidating. The ones I’ve tried, I’ve had to spray it on my hand first and then distribute throughout my hair; otherwise, the gel usually shoots out straight in one direction and clumps.
My friend recommended I try Tresemmé Simply No Frizz Spray Gel, so I gave it a shot. The gel actually spritzed onto my hair like a mist and covered a wide range. She was right: There were no clumps! I think it has to do with the actual sprayer, which is like a Windex bottle nozzle instead of a traditional pump. This spray gel controlled frizz and didn’t feel crunchy. I also have to tell you that this product has the most amazing floral scent. And at $5 at your local drugstore, it won’t break the bank.
