Curly Qs: Hair Treat
| 02/18/2009 - 11:15 |
I like to use deep treatments on my hair at least once a month to care for my dry locks. This weekend I tried Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask. Moroccanoil products have Argan Oil, which comes from the nut of the Argan tree fruit in Morocco. This oil is supposed to hydrate damaged strands, act as an antioxidant and add brillo.
The mask is a thick milky cream that you smooth on clean, towel-dried hair. I left it on for the directed 10 minutes, which made detangling a breeze. The light scent reminded me of men’s cologne, but that went away once I rinsed it out completely. I styled my hair as usual, and even though it was wet, my hair felt super soft and smooth. The weird thing is that my hair looks longer, like the curls are stretched out, but my hair doesn’t feel weighed down and it stills feels like silk. Maybe next time, I’ll leave it on for only 5 minutes and see if my curls are bouncier. All in all, it definitely gave my hair some much-needed TLC. What are your favorite deep conditioning treatments?
