Curly Qs: Curls at the Alma Awards

Waves and curls were out in full bloom at last week’s Alma Awards. They proved to be the trend of the night. And it was such a treat to see Latina celebrities showcasing textured hair in different ways. These are my top three favorite styles:

I hardly recognized Brazilian beauty Jordana Brewster, who pulled back her signature shaggy bangs and sported flowing bohemian waves.

Puerto Rican actress Justina Machado’s updo featured a low, side gathering of curls by the nape of her neck. This is a cute style that can be easily recreated!

The host of the night, Eva Longoria Parker donned beautiful soft curls for her entrance and then wore a glam, pin-curled faux bob. However, she later straightened her locks along with her many outfit changes.

Also spotted with waves were Cote de Pablo, Joanna Garcia, Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Eva La Rue to name a few.
