Latina.com readers Stardust17 and LovelyPrincessa mentioned they love the brand VO5 for their rizos. I remember it as a must-have in my house growing up. So, I took a trip down memory lane this weekend and tried a VO5 hot oil treatment.

Only now, they have one called VO5 Hot Oil Shower Works Moisturizing Treatment ($7) that you don’t have to pre-heat in a hot cup of water. You just put some shower works oil on wet hair before shampooing—the longer your hair the more you use—and it works with the heat of your shower. After 1 minute, you rinse it out and shampoo and condition per usual. The little tube hosts multiple applications, but since my hair is pretty long I used a little more. The smell brought back fond memories, and my curls were grateful to be moisturized. The results were the same as using the traditional hot oil, but this one was so much quicker without the pre-heating time. Chicas, have you tried it? Do you love?
