A supermodel and an iconic fragrance go together like peanut butter and jelly. So it's not a surprise that Gisele Bundchen has been named the new face of Chanel No. 5. The supermodel is taking over for Brad Pitt, reports People StyleWatch.
The Brazilian model has been a face of Chanel beauty for over a year, and now she'll be filming an ad for the famous scent with Hollywood director Baz Luhrmann. (He's also responsible for the Nicole Kidman 2004 Chanel No. 5 campaign.) The model was chosen for her "natural beauty and modern femininity," according to the company.
The ad campaign will be unveiled at the end of the year. Luhrmann and Bundchen were seen in the Hamptons filming the spot earlier this week, according to WWD.
