We told you the video was just the beginning for the "Girls Can" CoverGirl campaign! CoverGirl has announced a partnership with Soledad O'Brien and her production company, Starfish Media Group, and the Soledad O'Brien and Brad Raymond Starfish Foundation, which are all committed to the advocacy for empowerment of young women.

Starfish Media Group and O'Brien will create and produce a content series of true, untold stories that explore some of the biggset challenges young women face in achieving their dreams and pursuing higher education, going into their chosen field or building a business.

This content series will follow the lives of several young women and include lessons learned by some of the women who have succeeded through O'Brien's foundation. The Foundation's mission is to provide hard-working young women with the resources necessary to succeed, and provides educational scholarships and individualized mentoring for 25 young women every year.

The series will focus on how the young women create change in their lives as well in hopes to encourage and empower others to do the same. The content will begin rolling out in the next few months.

“There are thousands of inspirational stories waiting to be told about young women who yearn for a great education," said O'Brien in a release. "They are stories of struggle and stories of success, and they will inspire others to take action and work to change lives. CoverGirl's Girls CAN movement is perfectly aligned with my passion for helping young women overcome life's challenges, and my commitment to highlighting girls' successes. I am thrilled to partner with CoverGirl to embark on this exciting journey to improve the lives of girls and women in the world."

In addition, the partnership will also help to build mentor programs and expand educational opportunities through O'Brien's Starfish Foundation.
