Rosario Dawson looked effortlessly glamorous as she walked the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival, where she attended the premiere of her newest film Top Five.

Ted Gibson fashioned her 40s-inspired curls to showcase the 35-year-old actress' classic beauty.  We got the scoop straight from the beauty expert on how to recreate Dawson's gorgeous sideswept waves at home:

Here's how to get the look:

1. Ted started off with damp hair, and smoothed Kerastase Form Fatale gel all over her hair for added volume and body. The gel also served as a UV and heat protectact, and gave her hair enough shape and texture to form sexy waves.

2. Next, Ted blew her hair dry and parted into a deep side part. He smoothed  Leonor Greyl Eclat Naturel throughout her hair for added conditioning and protection.

3. Third, he took 1 1/2 sections and curled her hair vertically around a large barrel curling iron. He curled around her entire head with the curl facing away from the face.

4. Last, he brushed her hair to the side and pinned it at the nape of her neck to achieve a side swept look. He finished her look with a spray of  L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray Extra Strong Hold to keep her glam curls in place.
