It's not that Jennifer Lopez looks good for her age. It's that any woman at any age would want to look like J.Lo. She looks practically identical to her days of Selena and "If You Had My Love." How does she do it? The singer, actress, mother (the list goes on) is super-disciplined when it comes to her beauty regimen. Take a look at some of the tips she's revealed along the way:
1. Keep it Simple
Keep it Simple
"I'm a big believer in the basics. Less is more," Lopez tells Allure. "I get my cleanser from my dermatologist. I need a great cleanser because I've had to wear a lot of makeup for so many years. I use a very mild makeup remover and a very basic sunscreen-moisturizer combo."
2. Get Your Beauty Sleep
Get Your Beauty Sleep
J.Lo's a firm believer in quality sleep time. It’s when your body does its best repair work. "I think sometimes we get caught up in what we need to do next and forget about what are the very essential and important things in life," explains Lopez to WebMD the Magazine. "I treasure my time to sleep. It's just as important as eating or exercising."
3. Stay Out of the Sun

Her makeup artist, Scott Barnes, gave her the ultimate advice for keeping wrinkles at bay. "The number one beauty tip Scott has taught me is to stay out of the sun," she explains to Dailymakeover.com. "We've always worked with bronzers and self-tanners instead. It's been over 10 years now that Scott has been telling me to stay out of the sun and it has saved my skin."
4. She Embraces Her Natural Beauty

An important part of staying beautiful is accepting yourself as beautiful, inside and out. J.Lo proudly revealed her natural curls on Instagram with the caption, "Next stop LA... #curlyhairdontcare #myNYlook #gonnamissNY #greatvacation #backtowork." It proves that she doesn't need a full hair and makeup team to feel (or look) gorgeous.
5. Be Happy
And the easiest way to steal that trademark J.Lo glow? Just enjoy life. "When you feel happy, you look beautiful," Lopez said. "That's what it comes down to. I love my life."
