Q: Jennifer Lopez always looks like she’s glowing on American Idol. Is there any way I can get her radiant skin?
A: You’re not the only one who’s noticed her fresh, dewy look. Celebrity makeup artist Robert Bolanos just sent us his tips to, as he says, “Get your J-Lo glow on!”
- Don’t skip moisturizer before your foundation. It’ll make your skin brighter and smoother, so makeup goes on better.
- Mix a drop of Nars Orgasm Illuminator ($29, narscosmetics.com) into your foundation, then press it with a sponge over your skin evenly.
- Swipe on a shimmery (but not glittery) eye shadow. Robert recommends Stila Eye Shadow in Grace ($18, stilacosmetics.com). And use a shiny nude gloss (like L’Oreal Infallible in Barely Nude, $10, drugstore.com). Both reflect the light, giving you even more glow.
- Finish with a matte bronzer (like Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzing Powder, $28, ulta.com). “You already have a glowy foundation, so you don’t want to overdo it with another shimmery product,” Robert says.
