The Badgley Mischka Fall/Winter 2015 collection is full of ornate, gilded textures and colors of the 1940's glamour and the sultriness of Rita Hayworth. The beauty looks reflected that with makeup heavy on the eyes and minimal everywhere else. Latina on the Runway: Sleek and Sporty Hair at Prabal Gurung Fall/Winter 2015

The look at Prabal Gurung for fall/winter 2015 was inspired by a trip the designer took to the Adirondacks. Naturally, the beauty looks mirrored that vibe. The overall look was fresh and simple with a sense of ease, but also a luxurious glamorous edge. We noticed the hair was straight and off the face — not perfect but far from bed-head. "This girl is a little more sophisticated, so her hair looks done but as if she is outdoorsy and would go skiing," explained stylist Paul Hanlon.

Latina on the Runway: Tracy Reese Fall/Winter 2015 Unleashes The Urban Warrior

The look at Tracy Reese was feminine and powerful — think urban warrior princess for her fall/winter 2015 collection. We loved the outerwear pieces that had a bit of retro and Latin flavor, like the fringed, over-sized ponchos.

For her Fall/Winter 2015 collection designer Mara Hoffman took inspiration from two sources. "I was inspired by the 'spirit of Europe's wild men' and Luke Skywalker. This spirit assumes a dual personality, crossing the lines between human and animal, and civilization to wilderness," explains Hoffman. The prints and patterns are bold yet soft and neutral. "This collection is about keeping your feet on the ground an, hands in the sky and allowing the force to be with you at all times."

Latina on the Runway: Fall/Winter 2015 Kate Spade's Winter Walk

The beauty look backstage at Kate Spade’s Fall/Winter 2015 collection was inspired by a girl going for a brisk, yet adventurous, walk in the cold. Think about what happens when you return from a short walk on a winter’s day. Are your cheeks a bit flushed? Or is your hair wind-tousled? We were pleasantly surprised to see just how well the hair, makeup and nails aligned with the collection’s relaxed layers of rich woolen plaids, flannes and quilting in pretty hues.
