White privilege is a simple idea that can be unbelievably difficult to discuss, especially in the Latino community. We get it: no one likes being told that they were born with inherent privileges and perks that people of color simply don't have. However, white privilege has very real implications on our society — and our culture as Latinos — and it deserves to be addressed, again and again, until it's no longer a reality.
Rumor has it, Walter Mercado will write the "sequel" to the Bible — a story that seems too weird to possible be true, even for the kooky astrologer.
According to Latin Times, Mercado allegedly stated that God asked him to write a second part of the Bible. "He asked me to be an intermediary, like the old prophets, so he could dictate me the sequel of The Bible," he reportedly commented. "I feel very honored. With great power comes great responsibility."
