Favorite Latina fashionista: Jennifer Lopez has been killin' it for a decade at this point….
The Latino celeb I'd want to be best friends with: Chloe Bridges from The Carrie Diaries
My first celebrity crush: Jake Gyllenhaal (Still my celebrity crush…)
Something people don't know about me: I was a really good soccer player.
Guilty pop culture addiction: I wouldn't call the Kardashians a guilty addiction, so I'm going to go with Millionaire Matchmaker
My Latina Role Model: Sonia Sotomayor; here's why.
Fun Memory from My First Day at Latina: I found out I would be launching TheLatinKitchen.com!
Two words that describe Elvis Crespo: Ingenious. Scary?
If I met Jennifer Lopez, I would: Probably start humming "On the Floor".
Movie that makes me cry: Finding Nemo
Celebrity I'd switch teams for: Rihanna and Chelsea Handler
Latino artist on my iPod right now: Selena, always and forever
Favorite Interview with a Latino Celeb: Sofia Vergara – she's everything you want her to be, and more.
Favorite Latin dish: Flautas
Favorite Spanish-Language Song: "Dame Leche" - for comical reasons though
Proudest Moment as a Latino: Well, I'm an honorary Latino, so probably when a woman in my old apartment building yelled at me in Spanish – and I yelled back! Just kidding… But the thing I love most about Latino culture is the warmth and passion they bring to everything in life.

With the colors of leaves already changing, I'm spending (a good chunk of) my weekend transitioning my wardrobe from summer to fall. This always stresses me out for so many reasons: 1. There's a ton of clothes I just simply don't want to say goodbye to. 2. I always have trouble deciding what will actually transition well from summer to fall. 3. I clearly need to keep some summer staples around for quick trips to the Southern hemisphere or other warm-weather destinations in the winter months.
Whether you've tried Zumba or not, you may be surprised how naturally it comes to you; after all, the super popular dance-til-you-drop workout class is comprised of so many Latin rythyms, like salsa, merengue, reggaton and cumbia. Want to give it a whirl?
Being at this season's New York Fashion Week, Latina staffers got a sneak peek of Spring/Summer 2014's best runway collections and all the celebs sitting in the frow – that is, the front row. Stars including Jessica Alba, Nina Garcia and Adrienne Bailon all came out to support their favorite designers. Check out all the pics to see who was making the rounds at Fashion Week this season!
Created exclusively for Latina readers by Brian Sullivan, SVP of Culinary Development at California Pizza Kitchen, this flatbread pizza packs the perfect combination of smoky and spicy flavors.

Fashion Week may as well be called Party Week. Sure, it's all about the clothes but it's also really all about the party, and each Fashion Week party tries to outdo the last.
This Labor Day, I was lucky enough to escape the hustle and bustle of New York City for a quick trip to Montreal. My mission: See if the Latin food scene was living up to the hype. The French-speaking and culturally-dominant region of Quebec isn't the first place you think you'd find good Latin eats, but just as Latin flavors have become mainstream in America, they're creeping their way into the cuisine north of the border.
Charlotte Ronson is the queen of cool, so it's no surprise that Carrie Diaries stars Chloe Bridges and AnnaSophia Robb showed up for her Spring 2014 fashion presentation last night. And even though Charlotte's clothes shine on their own (Who wouldn't love that awesome crop top in the photo?), it was the gorgeous, effortless hair I couldn't stop staring at all night.
So it's day two of Fashion Week and (you can already see it on every editor, blogger & buyer's faces) we're tired. Which is why when I opened my inbox this morning I knew that KMart Fashion had nailed it with this set of Emojis they created just for Fashion Week. You can check them out and use them for yourself (great for Instagram, Twitter & Facebook!) on KMart Fashion's Facebook page.
Here's how I'm feeling on day two of Fashion Week:
The first show of Spring/Summer 2014, BCBGMAXAZRIA, is always a great kickoff to Fashion Week. I love seeing BCBG because it's ready-to-wear and let's face it - all women (including celebs like Fergie) LOVE this super-sexy-but-casual brand!
For spring, muted grays and creams were accented by black and white along with watercolor prints.
Flat on top with textured ends, the hair at BCBG looked like it had been slept-in. Its easy nature partnered well with the natural makeup for an overall downtown cool vibe.
