Proudest Moment as a Latino: Well, I'm an honorary Latino, so probably when a woman in my old apartment building yelled at me in Spanish – and I yelled back! Just kidding… But the thing I love most about Latino culture is the warmth and passion they bring to everything in life.

This weekend, I had the excruciatingly hard work task of visiting Cancun to interview Ricky Martin before his live concert at the Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort. I've interviewed many celebrities throughout my career as a journalist, and there's always something that surprises you about each and every one of them.
What do you get when you take Ricky Martin and drop him off to perform in Cancun, Mexico in front of 13,000 of his fans from all over the world? Deaf ears. We've never experienced so much screaming (and we were screaming ourselves!) as we did this weekend at his live outdoor concert at the beautiful Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort. Ricky rocked an 18 song set including his latest hit "Come With Me" and past favorites "María", "She Bangs" & "Shake Your Bon Bon" before the party continued at the hotel's glam discoteca Noir. But before all the dancing, screaming, and well, more screaming, we got to meet the man himself for an exclusive Q&A. Check out what Ricky had to say about his latest album, his sons' future in music, the song he's creating with JLo and Wisin and more.
With the winter chill setting in across the U.S., the time for a Caribbean getwaway couldn't be better. Starting in 2014, Disney Cruise Line, a long-time favorite amongst families, couples and anyone who just loves Disney (read: everyone) will be adding San Juan, Puerto Rico as its newest port-of-call on the Disney Magic.
Get a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Jasmine V & Becky G's February 2014 Latina cover, where Jasmine chats about her pride of being a Mexicana.
"For me, being Latina is amazing. And honestly, to be on the cover of the magazine is definitely an honor," Jasmine says. "I'm all about women empowerment...so that's one thing I always tell my fans, being a woman isn't about being against each other, it's about helping one another," she further comments.
This year, the HGTV Dream Home is located in Lake Tahoe, so when GMC asked if we'd like to get an exclusive sneak peek of it and its brand new GMC Yukon Denali during the Denali Dream Drive, I was on board before you could say casa ideal. After weeks of anticipation, I made my way out to beautiful Lake Tahoe, which strattles the border of Nevada and California. Known for its proximitiy to the highest concentration of ski slopes in the U.S.

Last night, the Latina staff celebrated another tremendous year of success at our annual holiday party in New York City. It's amazing to think how far we've come this year and the great stories that we've been able to tell you in the pages of the magazine, online, and through social media.
Happy Holidays from Vanessa & Kobe Bryant! Each year, celebs release their somewhat over-the-top holiday greeting cards for the world to see, and quite frankly, we can't get enough of them! The Kardashian's collaboration shot by David LaChapelle was a tad bit insane, between the hair, clothes & all the drama that came along with it, so it's refreshing to see Kobe & Vanessa get all glitz-and-glam'd up but really showcase what's most important - family! And what a beautiful family they have.
Thanksgiving is not only about the food, but also about the experience and the moments you create around the dinner table. Latinos don't usually need a particular reason to plan a family get-together, but Thanksgiving is the perfect excuse to combine some of our Latin flavors with an American custom.
