Abuela Said Soak in It!

So remember how abuela—or, at least my abuela—would soak her feet in water and Epsom Salt and say it was good for you? Turns out, there's something to that old wives' tale. I recently had a pedicure and let my feet soak in a warm tub sprinkled with Dr. Teal’s Epsom Salt Soaking Solution with Eucalyptus (visit drteals.us for retail locations) and my tootsies came out calm and totally refreshed.

Steal This Look: Paulina Rubio

In her awesomely cheestastic video for the song “Ni Rosas Ni Juguetes,” Paulina Rubio spends time beautifying in front of her vanity mirror while plotting maliciously against her man. Her look is so of this decade, I think every chica should master it. The face is dominated by thin black eyeliner all around the eyes, mascara, bronze cheeks, light pink lip gloss and short pink nails. To get the look, first check out Paulina's video below and then try the following products:

Pistachio Perfume?

I like a good lick of pistachio ice cream once in a while. But I was shocked to learn how much I love the Laura Mercier Crème de Pistache line of body products. This particular pistachio scent is so delicious you’ll be tempted to lick the pale green Souffle Body Crème ($55, lauramercier.com) right out of the jar. At once light, sweet and oh-so-unique, it'll be one decadent zero-calorie treat in which you can indulge.

Before You Apply Lipstick…

Draw around the outside of your lips with a flesh-colored lipliner. I like Maybelline Color Sensational Lipliner, Nude ($6, Walmart.com). This will help define your lips and keep the lipstick from bleeding. And as opposed to using a liner that matches the color of your lipstick, with a flesh-tone outline you won’t be left with a dark ring around your mouth after your lipstick has long faded.

Noxema Gets a Makeover

Every girl can recall the first time she smelled Noxema. I was 12, spending a summer week with my Aunt Hilda. I didn't have a skin care routine yet, but already longed for my own bottles and jars of magic beauty creams that would make me look pretty and grown-up. Before bed, my aunt gave me a tub of Noxema to wash my face. I unscrewed the blue lid and inhaled deeply. Oh, that creamy, tingly, slightly astringent scent; I would never forget it.

What in the World of Makeup is Tokidoki?

In the cartoon world of Tokidoki, mischief, mayhem and makeup collide to create a colorful beauty brand with an eclectic cult following.
