14 Latino Teen Stars Who ROCK!

The First Annual 2011 Youth Rock Awards are being held tomorrow night in Hollywood, and several of our young stars are up for awards, including Tyler Posey, Madison de la Garza, and Jake T. Austin. Also nominated are the young casts of Big Time Rush (with Carlos Pena), Wizards of Waverly Place (with Selena Gomez), and Victorious (with Victoria Justice).

Never before has there been such an explosion of young Latino talent rocking the big and small screen. Without further ado, we proudly present 14 of the hottest Latino teen stars in Hollywood!

101 Stars You Never Knew Were Latino!

1. Victoria Justice

Victoria Justice, 18

In the age of double-and triple-threat performers, this half-boricua not only stars in one of Nickelodeon’s biggest shows, Victorious, but she’s also an accomplished singer with her own solo debut album in the works. Can a fashion line be far behind?

2. Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez, 18

With poise and focus that belies her age, Gomez has built a J.Lo-esque mini-empire. The Texan, who's part-Mexican, and starred in the Emmy-winning Disney Channel series, Wizards of Waverly Place for four seasons, released her third album, When The Sun Goes Down this summer, in addition to starring in the summer girl-trip comedy Monte Carlo. As if that weren’t enough, her Dream Out Loud clothing line keeps cranking out popular pieces for teens, and she's currently recording a new bilingual album!

3. Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato, 18

After checking herself into a treatment center for “emotional and physical issues” in the fall, Lovato demonstrated that a stumble doesn’t have to last forever. The part-Mexican star released her hit single, "Skyscraper" a few weeks ago (which we can't get enough of!), and is ready to release her third album on September 20th!

4. Bella Thorne

Bella Thorne, 13

This Cuban American is no stranger to the screen—big and small (remember her as Bill Henrickson’s daughter on HBO’s Big Love?). We’re currently loving her as back-up dancer CeCe Jones in Disney’s Chicago-set Shake It Up!

5. Jake T. Austin

Jake T. Austin, 16

With a diverse background (his mom has Puerto Rican, Argentine, and Spanish roots), Austin is far from your average teen. He was a fan favorite on Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place as Selena Gomez’s youngest sibling, Max Russo and is set to star in New Year's Eve with Sofia Vergara and Zac Efron

6. Rico Rodriguez

Rico Rodriguez, 12,

As the romantic, strangely mature Manny on ABC’s Modern Family, the Mexican actor displays a blend of comedic and dramatic chops that wow.

7. Ryan Ochoa

Ryan Ochoa, 14

Following his recurring role as Chuck Chambers on three seasons of Nickelodeon’s iCarly (2008-2010), this part-Mexican actor landed the lead role of “Lanny” on the Disney XD series, Pair of Kings.

8. Tyler Posey

Tyler Posey, 19

He’s all grown up! The adorable little boy (a proud Mexican!) who played Jennifer Lopez’s son in Maid In Manhattan is the lead in this summer’s hotly anticipated TV reboot of Teen Wolf, airing on MTV. Taylor Lautner, who?

9. Adam Irigoyen

Adam Irigoyen, 13

You know this Cuban actor as Deuce Martinez, Cece Jones’ (Bella Thorne) long-time friend and confidante in the Disney Channel series, Shake It Up!

10. Moises Arias

Moises Arias, 16

This Colombian actor—who once hosted his own Disney show, Moises Rules!—stars on the hit Disney series, Hannah Montana as Rico Suave, the young (and wealthy) manager of “Rico's Surf Shop.”

11. Nolan Sotillo

Nolan Sotillo, 15
Cubano Nolan Sotillo is one of the stars of the Disney Channel’s upcoming musical comedy Madison High, which is set to air in January, 2012.

12. Mark Indelicato

Mark Indelicato, 16

We loved him on Ugly Betty as the most endearing (and fashion-obsessed) member of the Suarez family. Up next for the part Puerto Rican star is the Disney TV pilot Madison High, where he’ll play Harvey Flynn, the president of the  drama club and stage manager for the school’s major theater production. Sounds like a hit!

13. Lourdes Leon

Lourdes Leon, 14

The question isn’t why she’s a rising star, but rather how could she not be, especially with Madonna for a mother, gorgeous Cuban-and-Italian looks and a sharp fashion sense? But Lola is more than a cute face: She’s already designed a fashion collection, Material Girl, with the her pop icon mami.

14. Jasmine Villegas

Jasmine Villegas, 17

Buzz, buzz, buzz! Villegas has plenty of it, thanks to a scorching single, “All These Boys,” released last fall. The Mexican and Filipino performer is also ubiquitous in TV commercials for brands like Kellogg’s, Marshalls and McDonald’s.
